ABOUT US

Deeper-Routes

Deeper Routes was born out the collective clinical experiences of practicing decades in the mental health public and private sector.

Witnessing first hand the increasing challenges of services meeting the needs and demands of a rapidly changing society, we were faced with the choice of continuing in the blind hope of change or to take control and the opportunity to create something new, innovative and inspiring.

Having stepped out into the unknown, we have set out clear goals and priorities we want uncompromisingly for our customers. first, our services are tailored to meet human needs, whilst simultaneously creating opportunities for change and personal growth. What qualifies us to achieve this confidently, is our experience, training and insights into the most complex situations and conditions.

As conscious beings we are too aware of the law of impermanence and change. Our services are constantly being reviewed and changed in alignment with the changing needs of society, so what you see on offer today may well be very different in twelve months time, however what will remain a constant is our core central values. Our close attention to new developments in evidence based practice, research and customer feedback are key factors in how and when we change our methods.

THERAPEUTIC SERVICES – Deeper Routes offers an innovative approach to therapeutic services, offering 1:1 and small group sessions. With training and qualifications in NLP and Mindfulness, we believe using an integrative approach achieves the best results. Our bespoke model will help you to first develop and improve self awareness and meta cognitive systems. This is the perquisite stage which will then enable you to discover, identify and overcome limiting beliefs, gain greater control over emotional dysregualtion and evoke behavioural changes that will improve confidence and accountability leading you towards your own compelling vision.

ADULTS – We offer both 1:1 sessions over zoom and/or in person and if you live in the region or willing to travel, we will arrange sessions in one of the hundreds of lakeland Forrests or retreat centres, which can provide the perfect backdrop to support mental and emotional space for healing and recovery.

KIDS – We offer 1:1 sessions in person or over zoom. NLP for youngster sessions are delivered in a different format and always appropriate for age and emotional maturity of the individual. We encourage parents to be as engaged as possible.

RETREAT – Keep your eyes out or join our mailing list to be updated when we run our retreats in one of the lakeland retreat resorts. Typically, these will be located in forrest resorts with camping or clamping options to make them as affordable and wild experiences as possible.

Retreats are an excellent way to be immersed into a bonded small community where you can discover personal insights and discoveries which can take significantly longer in therapy. The structure of retreats centre around bringing mind, body and spirit back into alignment and unity through a series of guided sitting and walking meditations and yoga. We become grounded in nature and as we start to reconnect with our bodies, deeper discoveries emerge which we will collectively hold and support. Guided meditations follow Theravadan and Mahayana Buddhist schools of training and whilst our structure is typically secular, we welcome all faiths for those who wish to connect at that level.

TRAINING – Deeper routes provides training and workshops for teachers, parents and children in schools across the UK. Typically we run programmes across six sessions or six weeks, however this can be condensed for schools wishing to address cultural or systemic issues and require a more responsive delivery.
