Mindfulness Meditation
From beginners to the most advanced of mindfulness practitioners, our structure will aim to re-align your energies to help you calm your mind and body, stay present, and develop self awareness. Being advanced or experienced does not you can’t travel deeper, with further practice and your presence will be appreciated by our beginners and others new to meditation. Our methodology follows Theravada and Mahayana Buddhist teachings and while we offer a secular format, we lovingly welcome those who wish to connect with their faiths during the retreats. The delivery of meditations over two days follows a programme to first develop and strengthen mindfulness, followed by the second component of Compassion. We have good evidence for providing mindfulness first, which is to bring awareness and our attention first to our internal environment and just to simply observe. This is a necessary step to then look and observe the internal patterns and landscape including attitudes, beliefs, emotions, self-critiscm as well as other destructive emotions – providing antidote practices.

Yoga Sessions
Guided yoga practices between meditations help to improve flexibility, strength, and aid relaxation. We treat the body as a container for our practice for the weekend, it is important to bring new awareness and mindfulness to how we move and feel about our bodies. Re-connecting with our bodies will also improve significantly our sitting or walking meditation practices.
